Unknown Owner's 1956 Austin-Healey 100
or to vote for this car or leave a comment

This is not a Factory 100M.

1956 Austin Healey, West coast car most of its live.

Books and records dating back to the 70's

A good driver for its age, 4 speed OD works with second synchro weak, all electrics work,

Newer tires and excellent chrome rims. Some technical improvements like alternator

Presentable car. Older restoration. Lots of work was done, including engine rebuild.

Car would need nothing to drive for fun but could benefit from repainting front half of car due fenders buffed through and hood not matching. Have matching original non louvered hood.

due to the silver paint on front fenders is faded and the steel hood is a bit off color.

Altogether the car has a nice patina and looks old as it should be.

I think the fuel sender needs replacing.

There is a top frame behind the seats but the top is bad. Car also has to side curtains,

some tools and spare parts, spare wheel, books and records.

I owned BN2 when I lived in Jacksonville during the 70s when I was in the Navy with this exact paint scheme/colors. Could this be it?ThanksPatrick Yoas
