My Healey was my primary car thru my teen years and college. After college it was garaged for 25 years and then i embarked on a restoration - exterior and interior. She is a driver, the dash was the original wooden dash when i bought this car in 1975, every other part of the car is standard for this year.

Great car Jon, I've never seen one with a timber dash before, looks really good.

Hi Ian - Clearly not original (dash), but when i bought the car, as a 16 year old kid, i thought it was cool, so i've just kept it, knowing if i ever really wanted to return the car to full authenticity i could. All other elements are original, or proper replacements. The car, which i originally paid $1200 USD for, was a clunker, I of course put some money into it.I really love the bumber-free look, that after-market grille, and the color of your BT7. My car was originally that lighter Healey blue/white two tone.

Thank you for the compliment on my BT7. Yours is beautiful and close to my heart as my first car was a 1960 MGA with the same colors as yours. Of course, I would have preferred a 3000, but the MGA was a wonderful first car and considerably more affordable on my high school budget.

Nice - i fell in love with British Cars when i learned to drive a 64 MGB (my Dads car), started to tinker with it, and then discovered the Healey......And speaking of MG's, a soccer buddy of mine has an MGC, pretty much an MGB with an inline 6 and some XK inspired toggle switches. Awesome car.
