Bought as basket case project to teach myself MIG welding and bodywork. Successful on welding, with new lower fenders, doglegs, replacement sills, floors, etc.; bodywork not so much...not enough patience. Began restoration to build a "beater" but project turned out much better than expected. Recently had local body shop undertake a four-month project to correct my errors and apply new base coat/clear coat. Installed seats from '84 Fiero, with upholstery by Mr. Mike and Rick Engram. Now a non-original head-turner.
