The original chrome bumpers were not in too bad of shape but after seeing Bill Young's car using the rear bumperettes from the earlier Bugeye Sprites on the front, I've deicided to go that way. Those bumperettes are very rare though and expensive. They must be made out of unobtainium or something. Instead I picked up a couple of rear bumperettes from an early Triumph TR3. They are a little more squareish in shape than the Bugeye ones and easier to get. I plan to put them front and rear. They won't really offer any protection from the folks who park by the braille method but these cars are so low not much does.

I've also received two small grille sections from Ashley Hinton that are made from the same material as the grille I bought from him. Just have to figure a way to mount them.
