The last piece of the drive line puzzle was the drive shaft. I needed a shaft of the correct length that would connect a 1986 Toyota Corolla 5 speed trans to a 1984 Mazda RX7 LSD rear axle. A local shop called Proven Force was able to put one together for me, finding both the old joints/ends and adding some xerxes fittings and a balanced tube. It is the shortest drive shaft I've come across.
As soon as this goes in and a little more wiring is finished, the car will be ready to start and drive around the lot a little. That will be the first time since the mid 80s that it will move under it's own power.
